Economic Impact Analysis

TXP’s past economic and fiscal impact studies for public and private sector clients have covered a wide range of topics, including expanding and relocating businesses, educational facilities, tourism activity, arts and music festivals, transportation projects, and mixed-use developments.

Tax Increment Financing

TXP has significant experience assisting clients with all phases of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones (TIRZ), as well as similar public finance tools such as Public Improvement Districts (PID) and Transportation Reinvestment Zones (TRZ). TXP offers unbiased guidance regarding whether or not a TIRZ or any other instruments is the appropriate financing mechanism to implement. TXP is also frequently retained to review and update the tax revenue projections of existing TIRZs.

EB-5 Program

TXP has assisted over 30 clients with nearly 100 projects in establishing regional centers, identifying targeted employment areas (TEA), and responding to requests for evidence (RFE). TXP’s economic analysis was successfully used to establish regional centers, respond to RFEs, or obtain project approval.TXP maintains a national census tract level unemployment rate database and GIS map to help clients identify qualifying targeted employment areas (TEAs).
